We ate something different at every meal. The bungalow room was spacious and well maintained. Beach was wonderful. Beautiful beach, and the resort is clean and aesthetically pleasing. But I was so surprised about the food! I went in December 2021 with a group of girls and we all got good poisoning. Yup! All three of us are nurses and I wish I brought Imodium with me, the pepto did not help! We still aren’t sure what it was that caused it, but most likely the eggs. Even my vegetarian friends were sick so it probably wasn’t the poultry or meat. It definitely ruined the experience for me. On top of that I also had an ear infection. I was a hot mess! Was very happy to arrive back home.

En general una pasada de hotel, de los mejores que he estado y no creo que pruebe otros tan chulos. Las habitaciones son geniales , los espacios comunes igual de buenos, y la playa muy chula . La comida buena en rasgos generales aunque los camareros del buffet un poco lentos. Destacar que unaparte de los empleados dejan mucho que desear por la falta de profesionalidad , en especial a las camareras del frapuchino , son muy antipáticas y el trato que dan a los clientes es muy arrogante, parece que no quieren trabajar. creo recordar que una empleada de las dos que me refiero se llama Nathaly. También añadir que los empleados que llevan polo azul intentando que vayas al lobby a qué te expliquen cómo funciona el hotel etc te pueden parar unas 15 veces en dos días , siendo bastante pesados .

Quizás en el pasado era un excelente hotel y por eso la buena calificación en Booking, pero despues de nuestra estadia confirmamos todos los malos comentarios que encontramos aquí en google maps:El servicio es muy malo, MUY malo, tienes mucha suerte si encuentras algún camarero, o mozo, o personal del hotel que te atienda con buen ánimo, sino todo lo contrario un poco más y te tiran la comida.La comida en el buffet es estándar, la carne es muy mala, las frutas ok, las paellas y los tacos y ensaladas ok.En los restaurantes hace demasiado frío por el aire acondicionado, los vinos son pésimos (a menos que compres otro a parte del all inclusive) en el pescador y el japonés la comida estaba mejor, aunque cuando pides camarones te ponen 3 o 4. El italiano fue un desastre, las pastas recalentadas, secas, el risotto terrible… y lo peor de todo es que te hacen esperar EN TODOS cuando claramente desde la ventana se pueden ver mesas vacías.Vimos la piscina sucia varías veces.La calidad de los tragos es muy mala también, lo único aceptable fueron los cocolocos y creo que más por la cantidad de azúcar que el trago en sí, el lugar donde preparan los tragos en el bar grande es muy sospechoso también.Los vendedores de la playa y de los tours en el hotel son un eterno fastidio.El lugar es bonito y la playa grande pero el hotel tiene muy poco cuidado con la utilización del plástico, entonces es muy fácil ensuciar la playa, una lástima.Dos estrellas, una por la comida en el pescador y el japonés y la otra por las instalaciones. El servicio, cuidado del medio ambiente, toda la demás comida, limpieza y calidad de tragos muy muy muy mala.

Com certeza esse é o melhor resort de Punta Cana. Comida maravilhosa, funcionários prestativos, quarto incrível. Ficamos na suite honeymoon, que é maravilhosa, da área platinum. Habitaciones muy buenas, el servicio de las mismas también. Bajaba bastante la comida. En el buffet la carne le res, de cerdo, de conejo y codornices muy dura. En el restaurante El Pescador esperamos una hora y terminados marchándonos, por el retraso y por el frio, a la media hora de estar, que ya estaba bastante frío,pusieron el aire acondicionado más frío, más de dos se quejaron, pero aquello siguió igual. Las instalaciones generales bien.

Excelente servicio al cliente por parte de todos los empleados! Comida buena y variada, jugos naturales. Seguimiento a los protocolos de higiene contra el covid en el bufet. Habitaciones bonitas, confortables y con todo lo requerido. Lo que más me gustó fueron los tragos en el restaurante Foccacia, la comida que se ofrecía cada día en la playa (en especial el mofongo), el Sport Bar y la piscina relax.

El hotel recién reformado en su totalidad es bellísimo. Es uno de los hoteles más bonitos que he visitado, todo es de muy buen gusto. La calidad de la comida es regular, le pondría 3 estrellas a la calidad de la comida en general. La playa del hotel es muy buena, no en toda Punta Cana la playa es tan buena. Importante mencionar que el grueso de la ocupación del hotel es decir casi un 95% son huéspedes que hablan ruso. Es un punto importante porque a veces es difícil socializar con demás personas ya que no hablan ni inglés ni español.

Beautiful wide beach, but what's more important is that it's being cleaned every morning. Huge respect for that! Large area with a lot of gorgeous palms. Rooms are clean and comfortable, food is tasty. Nice personal. I'd definitely recommend this resort.

El lugar tiene sus cosas buenas, pero entiendo que hay muchas oportunidades de mejoras en relación a la comida que ofrecen en el buffet y su variedad.Y cuando vayan a tomar el tren para desplazarse dentro del hotel tienen que preguntar por uno de quienes lo conducen. Pregunten: por Cristóbal, nos dio una guía divertida muy amable y dispuesto. Nos divertimos con él.Las piscinas deberían tener un tipo de actividad y animación. Y al bar de la piscina principal por favor pongan mejor música ya que tuvimos que escuchar música no tan acordé al momento que se compartía.

Absolutely love the service and smiles at this resort!! 99% of the staff encountered are pleasant with an Hola or some type of acknowledgement.The accommodations are beautifully done and renovated about 2 years ago. Food is so so, just needs a bit more seasoning. The resort offers multiple restaurants and bars for enjoyment and has 2 pools and a beautiful beach front. Grounds are well maintained and beautiful. Absolutely love the all suites concept with balconies. We've spent a number of great afternoons on our balcony enjoying the breeze. Definitely a resort to visit with family, friends or your special someone.

Me and 6 other friends stayed 7 days here and it was absolutely amazing. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome at all times. I highly recommend getting the platinum package, as it offers different restaurants and drink selections. By far the employee to stick out the most was Rafi at the platinum swim up bar, we made sure to see him every day and will be back soon to see him again!

1. GOOD:
Nice Beach. Good food a la carte if taking Platinum plan. Great bars. Great people. Great Rooms/Suites
2. BAD:
- They have a medical center, they wanted to charge us $200 just to tell us about any ear drops that I needed because I got some water in my ear which was clogged with water. What a theft !!
- in order to return to my flight home We needed the antigen test. It takes 2-3 hours to be standing on a line just to get an appointment for the next day. Then on the next day we needed another 2 hours to be on another line to take the test. Additional to that they charged $35 per person. What a theft !!

Lo bueno. Las instalaciones están recién renovadas por los cual se encuentran en muy buenas condiciones. Las habitaciones son un encanto, cómodas y hermosamente decoradas, el baño es excelente poseen una tina y todo los accesorios que necesitas. El grupo de animación es entretenido y la musica en vivo en la noche es agradable. Check in y checkout muy rápido y eficientes. La playa en esta fecha esta excelente, muy poco sargazo.Lo malo. El servicio es regular, en el buffet, los restaurantes, el Cafe y el bar son muy lentos. La asistencia del personal es casi inexistente talvez por lo grande que es el completo. La comida en mi opinión nada buena, no fue de mi agrado muy repetitiva, sin variedad y sin calidad (carnes y pescados muy normalitos incluso en los restaurantes). Los restaurantes son un caos, no aceptan reservas y funcionan por orden de llegada por lo cual debes ir a las 6:30 pm para cenar a las 9 pm, sin mencionar que duran una eternidad entre tomar la orden y servir la comida, definitivamente este método no funciona.Regresaría? No por el momento.

Just spent 2 weeks with platinum status at this resort.It was extremely difficult if not impossible to get a sun bed on the beach or the platinum only pool.The resort supposedly has a policy that if you are not occupying a sun bed for 30 minutes, it can be taken by another guest.The staff did not enforce the policy leaving guest to sort it out for themselves which led to many contentious situations and arguments between guests.Guests were allowed to take as many towels to claim their territory both on the beach and in the pool which was very unfair to many other guest.Beach beds were usually claim by 6:00 AM but seldom occupied throughout the day.There was little entertainment with the exception of nightly Spanish music.Consider other options unless you like the aggravation.

Worst experience this hotel it NOT a 5 start hotel. This was my first time in Punta Cana so when I did my research I was looking for a 5 start hotel because I did want to have a great time. But unfortunately it was not what I was expecting. The front desk customer service it was horrible and the food was worst. I was there for 5 days and when to every single restaurant looking for one that give me good food andtasty but unfortunately it was always cold and with out flavor. With the exception of the chef that cook at the beach next to the food truck every single meal was bad. Also the room it was not what I was expecting. The AC in my room was not working the change me of room and it was the same the finally they fixed the second day in the afternoon. The refrigerator never works in 5 days that I was there. I complained every single day and no one show up for that. Without counting that the first 2 day phone in my room didn’t work so I have to walk to the front desk every time I need to complete.Overall the service was horrible. With the exception of the bartendersin the main pool and the chef by the beach I believe his name Edy.But everything else was the worst experience. I have traveled to many places and this experience was the worst.I will not recommend this hotel to anyone

Que lugar maravilhoso, minha lua de mel nãopoderia ser tãoboa, li alguns comentários de algumas pessoas, e entreino perfildelas para entender como uma pessoa poderia não gostar desse lugar. Esse lugar é incrível, comida 24 horas, o que vc pede vem no quarto, o bar é muito bom. Uma noite choveu e pedimos um guarda-chuva, quando chegamos no quarto já estava lá. Tudo feito com muito capricho, o atendimento é ótimo do início ao fim. Recomendo passar uns 5 dias no mínimo.O lugar possui muitos restaurantes temáticose esses possuem uma quantidade limitada de lugares para atendimento, então recomendo chegar cedo se realmente quiser jantar neles devido a concorrência, mas nada de anormal. Caféda manhã o melhor que já provei, e não tem como passar fome ou sede aqui. Se pudesse mudar algo, seria o horário dos jantares, ao invés de ser das 18:00 às 22:00colocaria das 18:30 à 00:00, assim ampliaria o leque de opções para o jantar, mas apenas isso... espero voltar aqui muitas e muitas vezes.. Obs. Estou postando e ainda estouno hotelde 17/08 - 27/08/21.

I have been to a lot of resorts in my life, but at Bavaro Princess hotel I had the worst experience ever. I traveled from Boston, MA to spend the weekend with friends, and the bad services started the moment I put my feet at the property. First of all, no one collected my luggage to take it to my room. The check-in process was a mess, I spent almost 3 hours in line for the check-in after 7 hours of traveling. When I got to the room, the bathroom sink was dirty and toothpaste was missing. The hotel was short of staff, and they admitted too many guests that the short staff was unable to keep up with so many people causing discomfort for all the guests who paid to have a relaxing vacation. There was a huge waiting time for every amenity, a huge line to eat at all restaurants, and a huge line to order drinks at the bars. My friends and I decided to go to the 24hr snack bar the first night to play pool and have some drinks and eat. The pool table and pool cue were unserviceable, and when we decided to order food around 1 am, we had to wait until 3 am just for burgers and hot dogs. I definitely won't go back. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

This place is by far the worst resort I’ve ever been to!!!!! The food is trash! They have so many restaurants and barely anything that taste good ( if you’re used to good, seasoned, flavorful food). The phone I’m our room stopped working after the first night so we couldn’t even have room service. Additionally, when we were leaving they were supposed to come get our bags from our room and no one showed up, we had to walk in the rain to the lobby with our suitcases and luggage in our hands!!!!! The ONLY thing that saved this was DANIEL who works in the tourist area in the front. He does excursions etc. He booked our excursions for us and took very good care of us here. If you happen to already book come to him when you’re here, otherwise YOU WILL NOT enjoy your trip.Btw just to be clear , go to the front and ask for DANIEL from get away tours. The best…. He literally saved our trip .

We stayed at the family vacation club for 5 days, the staff were amazing, the room wasbeautiful and clean. The food was OK and the entertainment was horrible. The Kids area at the family vacation club had no food or snacks for the kids, we had to travel all the way to the beach in order to get some snacks for the kids. They had no life guards at the beach or the pool. The disco and casino is open to anyone and I just didn’t feel safe. We stayed at the princessbefore and our experience was better not sure if I would go back. 😣😣

It's an excellent selection, I was with a little doubt before making my reservation but i am impressed with the quality overall, the installations are on peak prestigious aesthetics and there's a lot to do. People here make you feel really welcome. Cons: my safe lock got damaged twice in the first day but they fixed it right away and didn't have more problems with and the restaurants does not require reservations so you might want to visit them first hour.Overall, great experience. Recommend it and would come again, no doubt.

Péssimo! Pra começar, cheguei no hotel e me deixaram esperando mais de 40 minutos para ir para o quarto, pois disseram que não tinham carros disponíveis para levar as malas. Isso depois de esperar mais de meia-hora para ser atendido no check-in (depois de ter voado quase 10 horas para chegar, cansados e com crianças pequenas). Me disseram ainda que está com 52% de ocupação por causa da Pandemia, mas ainda assim todos os funcionários atendem com muita má vontade e lentidão, são mal preparados e mal treinados... Os restaurantes buffet self-service tem falta de comida e os funcionários nem te olham na cara quando se reclama! Os restaurantes a-la-carte não precisam de reserva, mas estão sempre lotados... Ou seja, eu e minha família estamos passando fome no hotel, já que os serviços são péssimos e os funcionários não te escutam. Não há responsáveis disponíveis para se reclamar, e os que estão a cargo das unidades escutam com cara de poucos amigos e não tomam providências, simplesmente desprezando o que se fala com eles! Ou seja, não há com quem reclamar... A sensação que tenho é que estou preso por 7 noites em um lugar onde ninguém me escuta, o serviço é ruim e a comida é escassa... Ontem pedi toalhas e cobertor extra, já que somos 4 pessoas na família e me colocaram em um quarto preparado para 2 pessoas... E não trouxeram! Tive que pedir 4 vezes, pessoalmente e por telefone até que trouxessem... Sinceramente, muito ruim... Não recomendo para nada esse hotel! E tudo isso porque o hotel está teoricamente com metade da capacidade. Imagina esse inferno completamente cheio!!! Péssima decisão de vir aqui passar as férias em família... E mais: as ruas estreitas por onde caminham os pedestres são as mesmas por onde passam os carros, motos e caminhões do hotel. Quase te atropelam o dia inteiro com um trânsito intenso de veículos trafegando muito mais rápido do que deviam, e isso dentro do complexo... Um dia ainda vão atropelar alguém! Me jogo toda hora para o gramado com carrinho de bebê para não ser atropelado. Deviam prever uma via separada para trânsito de veículos de serviço! Além de perigoso é inconveniente... Péssimo, péssimo, péssimo... Se vc está lendo essa avaliação até aqui e pretende escolher um lugar para passar férias, sugiro passar longe desse lugar! Ah, e pela lotação do hotel, acredito plenamente que não estão com 52% de capacidade somente... Provavelmente estão dizendo isso só pra dizer que cumprem com as regras da Pandemia perante as autoridades Dominicanas, porque não é possível que tudo seja tão ruim com metade da capacidade do hotel! Ah, e para fechar com chave do ouro a estadia, fui jantar no restaurante Focaccia (pizzaria), que pra variar tinha itens faltantes do cardápio (como em quase todos os outros). Meu filho passou mal e pedi para embrulhar as pizzas para viagem, para comer no quarto... Sabe o que fizeram? Ao invés de levarem os pratos para a cozinha para embrulhar, me jogaram na mesa uma folha de papel alumínio de mais de 1 metro para que eu mesmo embrulhasse as pizzas (seguem fotos)... Absurdo! Pior: Me chamaram para um reunião com a Gerência de Operações. Perdi quase duas horas do meu tempo (pago) no hotel, mas fui com boa-vontade para ajudar. Quem sabe minhas críticas poderiam servir para melhorar os serviços do hotel? Mas não senti isso. Fiquei ouvindo desculpas e explicações do porque de as coisas serem ruins assim, mas aparentemente sem nenhuma vontade de realmente melhorar. Recomendo sinceramente que os gerentes e responsáveis pelo hotel, saiam dos seus escritórios e ar-condicionados fresquinhos, e realmente caminhem pelo hotel para que tenham noção do péssimo serviço que estão prestando... Porque o serviço e o treinamento dos funcionários está abandonado, literalmente. Os funcionários não sorriem, salvo muito poucos... Se isso se mantiver assim, seguramente estão no principio do fim... Lamentável! Não recomendo...

The worst experience ever. What hustle was to try to feed my family in this place The main problem was food when it was time to go eat at dinner all places always full and eating was the biggest problem always was turn down buy staff for not having room for people so they will send from one side of resort to another side of the resort will take easy 25 to 30 minutes for the reason you have take transportation and the they don’t provide room service only for platinum members Staff was great with the exception of management staff. All they do is justify their issue wish what’s that mean they don’t care about costumer I will be adding more information to their page a lot more peoples were not happy with same issues in all inclusive hotel At 50 percent capacity the are there were lots of people mad about this issue

Wonderful resort but definitely Grand, needed to use the shuttle on a few occasions. Room was super comfy and arranged well. The food was very good and the staff was simply amazing, check out the food trucks on the beach. The big plus was the beach, extremely clean and the water was swimmable, go just for the beach. Other adjacent resorts were loaded with seaweed but not this resort, they kept it thoroughly clean. I would go back.

My husband brought me here for a relaxing vacation that we found on apple vacations for a steal and we were over the moon happy with this resort. The beach was so clean especially when compared to other resorts next door. The staff was over all really kind. (we weren’t going to let a couple of bad attitudes ruin our trip) Dinner was by far the tastiest with great portions. All of the animals we’re beautiful. The resort is massive so they have a trolly system. The rooms were also massive and extremely clean. We took extra precautions to hide our valuables and nobody took anything. I highly recommend this resort.

My stay Is great at the grand bavarro I'm writing this review because of Jeffrey and he deserves it. he is the go to guy at the resort he's professional, funny, has fun with the guests and is a very friendly human. He made sure my girlfriend and I had everything we needed he was always available at all times. I consider him a true friend thank you Jeffrey for your awesome service you did an excellent job and work really hard. The hotel is beautiful and great also but Jeffrey really made the experience that much better cause he was so helpful. Thank you.

They said there were no day passes so we paid for a 1 night stay. When we were in our room we tried to order room service the man kept hanging up on us. Then they disconnected our phone. Then, another couple walked into our room. We went to the front desk and the told us they double booked our room. Then we returned to our room and our room keys were no longer functioning. We returned to the lobby and spoke with a man named Jenry and he was very rude. He stated since we did not lose anything then it wasn’t a big deal that someone came in our room. He “reprogrammed the key” and sent us with maintenance. Maintenance took off on a bike and told us to wait for transportation back to the room since it was late. When we went to wait for transportation Adolfo allowed another family in front of us told us to wait and just left. We had to wait another 30 minutes for transportation. When we returned to the room a second time the room key was still ineffective. We then walked all the way to the lobby because there was no longer transportation because it was so late. When we got back in the lobby we spoke with David. David was very kind a apologetic. David actually fixed our problem. The next morning we spoke with Freddy and Freddy apologized profusely and gave us a day pass as compensation. For this to be a five star resort and have such poor seeing is absurd. I do not recommend staying here.

I spent my vacation 6 times at this hotel. Every time it was amazing! One of the best place on the beach line. No huge waves, clean and comparably quite. Now it’s under reconstruction. Waiting for the next year to come back again.

My wife and I spent 5 days/4 nights and had an incredible experience. The entire Staff is so attentive and helpful. We only ate once outside of the Hispaniola buffet because it was so good there! We ate something different at every meal. The bungalow room was spacious and well maintained. Beach was wonderful. There are some vendors trying to sell you things but a simple no thanks and they smile and walk away.
We will definitely be back. Thank you Bávaro Princess!

Was the best all inclusive we have been on. The food was great and the drinks made at the main building were excellent. We did the Platinum upgrade and enjoyed the amenities of getting snacks and drinks in the Platinum only hut. The service was outstanding all throughout the resort. Enjoyed the extra thick lounge chairs on the beach and the drinks being served to us. Overall we had a great trip.

We loved our stay at this resort. The staff was very Friendly, the food at the restaurants was really good. Definitely go with the platinum club, not much more money but lots of amenities. The train that takes you around the resort comes frequently, rooms were clean. I don’t have anything to compare it to, it’s our first all inclusive, but we would definitely go back here. Only note, only one outlet in the bedroom which seemed minimal, and lots of smokers who can smoke anywhere it seems. Overall though, it was just great!

Bavaro Princess is an amazing resort that we always enjoy coming back to. The staff and services here are great, and the experience we had was really good. The layout is very nice, and the place is always clean. We look forward to coming back. Recommended! Please LIKE this review if you agree.
