“Overall friendly staff and great location! Rooms are pretty sound proof too for a hotel at least. Could hear the person above us walking around but overall not bad. If you are adverse to airplane noise like nonstop then definitely don’t stay here lol. However if you love airplanes and seeing them - it might be a cool place to stay. We liked that it was a walkable community and pretty laid back. Not too far from most things. Would definitely come back!”

“Great location, especially at this price! Of course I had to stay at a Courtyard while in San Diego to have a hotel room with rich mahogany. I was a bit disappointed the hotel did not have many leather-bound books, but oh well. My only real complaint about the hotel was the staff did not work to resolve the issues I had, despite my being a higher-up Marriott elite member. The smart TV did not work at all, so I had to watch Ron Burgundy on my laptop while eating tacos and staring at the rich mahogany. They said I could call the front desk and we could get IT on the phone and troubleshoot the TV. Right, because that's what I want to do on vacation. I was staying here 4 nights, so it's kind of a big deal — and I am a big deal (I wasn't sure how to tell them this or that "people know me", so I just didn't. They apparently did not like my complaint and sent it right back after I put it out there.) One of the things I love about San Diego is their airport is right downtown. I actually prefer staying in the Liberty Station are to actually staying downtown. You're closer to the airport, still by the water, and close to great shopping/dining. There is a walking trail directly by the hotel; you can walk along the inlet and watch planes land — or cross the street and walk along the bay. After seeing folks post photos overlooking the pool, I would definitely pay extra for that level of room in the future. The pool itself was wonderful and felt like you were at a resort, not a Courtyard Marriott. Well done.”
