El hotel en general era muy bonito, muy moderno ya poca distancia a pie de algunos buenos restaurantes. Encontré a la recepcionista de guardia a las 6 pm cuando me registré muy amable. El bar de la azotea era muy acogedor, pero no el personal. El camarero y el anfitrión no parecían amables. Mi esposa y yo decidimos ir al vestíbulo y sentarnos, hablar y disfrutar de la noche. En el vestíbulo, la recepcionista del turno tardío nos dijo que no podíamos sentarnos en las mesas redondas porque eran parte del restaurante. Me pregunté si el maltrato era el resultado de las tensiones raciales en Dallas / Estados Unidos. Viajo a menudo y me veo obligado a lidiar con la ignorancia y los malentendidos de la gente. Espero volver pronto a Dallas y también espero que el personal reciba capacitación en habilidades de servicio al cliente. O hotel em geral era muito bom, muito moderno e a uma curta caminhada de alguns restaurantes agradáveis. Encontrei a recepcionista de plantão às 18h, quando fiz o check-in muito amigável. O bar da cobertura era muito convidativo, mas não a equipe. O barman e o anfitrião não pareceram amigáveis. Minha esposa e eu decidimos ir para o lobby e sentar, conversar e aproveitar a noite. No saguão, a recepcionista do turno da tarde nos disse que não podíamos sentar nas mesas redondas porque elas faziam parte do restaurante. Eu me perguntei se os maus-tratos eram resultado das tensões raciais em Dallas / América. Eu viajo com frequência e sou forçado a lidar com a ignorância e a incompreensão das pessoas. Espero voltar a Dallas em breve e também espero que os funcionários recebam treinamento em habilidades de atendimento ao cliente. A comunicação é possivelmente uma das partes mais importantes do serviço ao cliente. A maneira como a equipe interage pode fazer ou quebrar uma experiência.

The front desk was absolutely amazing they upgraded us due to a special occasion. There’s so many extras in the room that make being away from home convenient. I Freaking love it here!!!!!

Upscale living is the best living. Beautiful property. Insanely comfortable bed and nice size room. Location is also great. Go eat at Malai Kitchen around the corner.

Outstanding views of Uptown and Downtown from this Chic Uptown hotel. This rooftop bar has decent bar food and awesome drinks. Great fireplace on cold nights.

The hotel in general was very nice, very modern and in walking distance to a few nice restaurants. I found the receptionist on duty at 6pm when I checked in very friendly. The rooftop bar was very inviting but not the staff. The bartender and host did not appear friendly. My wife and I decided to go the the lobby and sit, talk and enjoy the evening. At the lobby we were told by the late shift receptionist that we could not sit at the round tables because they were part of the restaurant. I wondered if the mistreatment was a result of the racial tensions in Dallas/America. I travel often and am forced to deal with peoples ignorance and misunderstanding. I hope to return to Dallas soon and also hope training in customer service skills are provided to the staff. Communication is the possibly one of the most important part of customer service. The way the staff interacts can make or break an experience.

My wife and I drove from Phoenix to Dallas yesterday. We booked four nights at the Hilton Canopy because it located near some friends. I used the Hilton website to book the room (confirmation attached). After driving for 15.5 hours, we arrived just after midnight. I went inside to check in. A woman named Marla was at the front desk and asked for my reservation information, which I gave her. She then proceeded to tell me that my reservation had been cancelled. I told her that there must have been a mistake because I didn’t receive any notifications from the hotel other than my reservation confirmation (proof attached). She said that a $1 charge on my credit card didn’t go through so my reservation was terminated. I told her that I had the credit card that I used to book the room in front of me and she could run the card now. She said that I needed to be smarter about making my reservations and input a correct credit card. I told her that I didn’t deliberately input a wrong credit card. I had been on the road traveling for the last month and maybe the credit card company flagged the transaction. That seemed weird thought because I booked through the Hilton site. I was given a confirmation email. Other than the confirmation email I had no further communication from the hotel. I asked if she could just reinstate the reservation. She said she couldn’t because it was after midnight. It was 12:07am.I would need to now pay the walk-in rate—which was $70 more per night. I also would need a different room type because they no longer had my kind of room. I asked her to help me out because I had no way of knowing that my reservation was cancelled. She again said that I needed to be smarter about making my reservations and input a correct credit card. I gave up and walked out of the hotel. Because the Canopy didn’t inform me that they cancelled my reservation, I had to find a dog friendly hotel near my friends at 1am on a Friday night. I then had to pay the walk in at another hotel, which was farther away from my friends. The experience I had at the Canopy and the treatment I received from Marla at the front desk is one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in my life. I’d avoid the hotel if at all possible and stay at a place that values their customers and treats people with respect. EDIT: reached out the manager and he left me a nice response if I am ever back in Dallas I will try again.

Hotel de moda en el corazón de la zona alta. dando la bienvenida al momento de entrar. Diseño ligero y moderno. Estoy deseando quedarme aquí cuando regrese a Dallas. También hay muchos restaurantes excelentes en las cercanías, ¡pero no olvides visitar el bar de la azotea! También me encantan las estaciones de agua y hielo en cada piso.

Hotel moderno no coração da parte alta da cidade. dando boas-vindas ao momento em que você entra. Design leve e moderno. Mal posso esperar para ficar aqui quando eu voltar para Dallas. Muitos restaurantes excelentes nas proximidades também, mas não se esqueça de verificar o bar da cobertura! Também adoro as estações de água e gelo em cada andar.

Trendy hotel in the heart of uptown. welcoming the moment you walk in. Light and modern design. Can’t wait to stay here when I return to Dallas. Plenty of great restaurants nearby as well, but don’t forget to check out the rooftop bar! Also really love the water and ice stations on each floor.
