Como hotel, fantástico. Como um hotel Ritz-Carlton de 5 estrelas... deixou muito a desejar, e duvido que escolha este local novamente.No geral, é um lindo hotel. Ficamos por três noites e as interações com todos os funcionários foram agradáveis. Ao todo, uma experiência de hospedagem fina. Mas houve vários problemas com o nosso quarto (Premiere King Room) que, na minha opinião, são impróprios para um hotel deste calibre. Embora cada um seja pequeno, é a combinação desses problemas que significa que nenhum tempo na sala foi tão fácil e sublime quanto eu esperaria de um Ritz.Em nenhuma ordem particular: - O chuveiro teve alguns problemas. A pressão da água era ótima, mas o dreno não era rápido o suficiente (enchia e se acumulava aos seus pés), e a porta não tinha um pára-choques quando você a abria, o que significava que atingiu o batente da porta vizinha de uma forma muito maneira desagradável. - Havia essencialmente zero ganchos de toalha. Havia um na parte de trás da porta, mas já estava em uso pelas vestes que eles fornecem. Isso significava que tínhamos que colocar toalhas usadas para tomar banho na porta do chuveiro. - O assento do vaso estava solto na chegada. Eu não me incomodei ligando para a recepção, mas supondo que eles limpassem o banheiro entre as estadias, eu esperava que alguém percebesse isso e consertasse antes de nossa chegada. A tampa também não era uma tampa macia. Talvez seja preferência, mas isso foi uma surpresa para mim. - O escurecimento do quarto é muito bom e não há luzes noturnas perto do banheiro. Se você quiser usar o banheiro no meio da noite sem acordar seu parceiro, é uma tarefa difícil chegar ao banheiro com segurança. Ou são luzes de inundação ou escuridão total. - Os interruptores de luz na mesa de cabeceira (e nas luzes de leitura acima da cama) eram muito difíceis de acessar. Eu tinha que chegar atrás da mesa de cabeceira sempre que queria ajustar a luz ou desligá-la para dormir. Por que torná-lo tão difícil? - Sem café no quarto. Enquanto eles forneceram café no lobby pela manhã, e enquanto eles também oferecem serviço de quarto, qualquer tipo de opção de café no quarto (Nespresso?) estava visivelmente ausente. Quero opções de café ou chá sem precisar me vestir ou pagar alguém para entregar uma refeição completa. - As garrafas de água que eles forneceram pareciam muito baratas. Eram as garrafas da Poland Spring com a nova marca usando o plástico de paredes muito finas. Apenas me senti... fora do personagem para um hotel como este. - Havia arte na sala na parede que não estava visivelmente nivelada.

As a hotel, fantastic. As a 5-star Ritz-Carlton hotel... it left a lot to be desired, and I doubt I'll choose this location again.Overall, it's a beautiful hotel. We stayed for three nights and the interactions with all of the staff were pleasant. All in all, a fine lodging experience. But there were several issues with our room (Premiere King Room) that, in my opinion, are unbefitting of a hotel of this caliber. While each is small, it's the combination of these issues that meant no time in the room was as effortless and sublime as I'd expect from a Ritz.In no particular order: - The shower had a few issues. Water pressure was GREAT, but the drain wasn't fast enough (it filled up and pooled by your feet), and the door didn't have a bumper on it as you opened it, which meant it hit the neighboring doorframe in a very unpleasant manner. - There were essentially zero towel hooks. There was one on the backside of the door, but it was already in use by the robes they provide. This meant we had to drape towels used to shower over the shower door. - The toilet seat was loose upon arrival. I didn't bother calling down to the front desk, but assuming they clean the toilet between stays, I'd have expected someone to notice this and have it fixed before our arrival. The door that separates the toilet was impossible to close if you were standing anywhere other than beside the toilet. In front of it, or on it, and you couldn't close the door. The lid also wasn't a soft close lid. Maybe it's preference, but this was a surprise to me. - The room darkening is too good, and there are no night lights near the bathroom. If you want to use the bathroom in the middle of the night without waking your partner, it's a difficult task getting to the bathroom safely. It's either flood lights or pitch darkness. - The light switches on the nightstand (and on the reading lights above the bed) were very difficult to access. I had to reach behind the nightstand whenever I wanted to adjust the light or turn it off to sleep. Why make it so hard? - No coffee in the room. While they provided coffee in the lobby in the morning, and while they also offer room service, any sort of in-room coffee option (Nespresso?) was noticeably absent. I want coffee or tea options without needing to get dressed or pay for someone to deliver a full meal. - The water bottles they provided felt really cheap. They were the re-branded Poland Spring bottles using the very thin-walled plastic. Just felt... out of character for a hotel like this. - There was art in the room on the wall that was noticeably not level.

We thought all staff members (including housekeeping) were exceptional…attentive, accommodating, and very friendly. They even gave my son a wonderful welcome gift as he is starting at Georgetown this week. Our only suggestion would be to add a coffee station accessible throughout the entire day in the lobby. Our suite was beautiful. My kids loved the Presidential cookies and First Lady drinks each day. We had a fantastic stay. I highly recommend!

Muito imprevisível no serviço de recepção. Venho ficar aqui pelo menos uma vez por mês. Desta vez, uma equipe da recepção fez o possível para me acomodar com check-out tardio e ele fez parecer que não era grande coisa. Ele até me deu o melhor espaço para status. Da última vez, fui recebido por uma equipe que literalmente agiu como se eu estivesse invisível enquanto esperava que ela olhasse para cima do computador para me fazer check-in. ?!?. Tivemos uma excelente estadia aqui! A equipe em todo o hotel foram excelentes em todos os momentos. Reservamos um quarto no andar do club lounge para acesso ao lounge que serve 5 vezes por dia. Fomos informados de que este hotel não concede automaticamente acesso ao nível do clube apenas porque você tem esse status de ser um membro do Marriott e recebe em outras propriedades do Marriott. Aqui você tem que pagar. Não tenho certeza se teríamos recebido um upgrade gratuito para o nível do clube, mas verificaremos isso na próxima vez. O club lounge foi incrível e a equipe não pôde fazer o suficiente para garantir nosso conforto e felicidade em todos os momentos. Fatiah, Nayana e Beri foram INCRÍVEIS e tornaram nossos momentos no lounge tão agradáveis. Eles têm café da manhã, almoço, lanches, aperitivos à noite e sobremesa. Bebidas alcoólicas de cortesia, além de suco de água e café/chá. O quarto era confortável e a cama ótima. O chuveiro / banheiro é datado e o chuveiro é pequeno e o poder da água era um pouco esmagador, mas tivemos uma ótima visita e ficaria aqui novamente.

Eu fiquei aqui duas vezes, apenas por um dia ou dois de cada vez. O lobby é lindo e é um local legal. Ritz é uma marca forte, mas desde o Covid parece ter perdido um pouco de valor. O salão do clube está fechado há algum tempo e os quartos podem precisar de uma atualização. Há muitas opções de hotéis sofisticados em DC, então pelo preço que você paga aqui, você também pode explorar o St Regis ou o Four Seasons. Ainda um destino agradável e boa localização central.

A localização é boa. Fácil de localizar.A equipe da recepção foi rude e condescendente durante cada interação. Quarto era bom, mas nada emocionante.Os porteiros e os funcionários da nossa limpeza do chão foram todos excepcionalmente agradáveis. Eles são o que ganhou as três estrelas.Além disso, se você quiser colírio para os olhos, fique ao mesmo tempo que os dignitários para que o local fique cheio de serviço secreto. Eu me senti muito seguro.

We had a great stay here! The staff throughout the hotel were excellent at all times. We booked a room in the club lounge floor for access to the lounge which serves 5 times per day. We were told that this hotel did not automatically grant access to the club level just because you have that status from being a Marriott member and do receive at other Marriott properties. Here you have to pay. I am not sure if we would have received a complimentary upgrade to the club level but will check that out the next time. The club lounge was amazing and the staff could not do enough to ensure our comfort and happiness at all times. Fatiah, Nayana, and Beri were AMAZING and made our times in the lounge so enjoyable. They have breakfast, lunch, snacks, evening hors d'oeuvres, and dessert. Complimentary alcoholic beverages in addition to water juice and coffee/tea. The room was comfortable and the bed was great. The shower/bathroom is dated and the shower is small and the power of the water was a little overwhelming but we had a great visit and would stay here again and again.

Very hit or miss on front desk service. I come to stay here atleast once a month. This time around, had a front desk staff go out of his way to accomadate me with late check out and he made it seem like it was no big deal. He even gave me the best room for status. Last time, I was met by a staff who literally acted like I was invisible while waiting for her to look up from computer to check me in. When asked if I wanted late check out, I said yes and she immediately went “not possible”?!?. I expect more consistency from the Ritz

Location is good. Easy to locate. Front desk staff was rude and condescending during every interaction. Room was nice but nothing exciting. The doormen and the staff on our floor cleaning were all exceptionally pleasant. They are what earned the three stars. Also, if you want eye candy, stay at the same time as dignitaries so the place will be full of secret service. I felt very safe.

I've stayed here twice, only for a day or two each time. The lobby is beautiful and it's a cool location. Ritz is a strong brand, but since Covid it seems to have lost a little value. The club lounge has been closed for some time and the rooms could use an update. There are plenty of high-end hotel options around DC so for the price you pay here, you could also explore the St Regis or Four Seasons. Still a nice destination and good central location.

My first time at the Ritz Carlton! It was so beautiful and my stay was fabulous! Maggie, a member from the staff, was so kind to me. She personally brought me carafe of coffee to my room! I felt like a princess! Room was spacious, beautiful and everything you possibly could need for a restful and relaxing stay!

The Ritz Carlton in Washington DC is one of the best hotels I have ever been to! The people who work there are so nice and welcoming. It is a hard place to not love. I personally loved my room. My room came with 2 bathrooms, A enclosed bedroom, and a bar area along with a dinner area. It was the height of luxury. The restaurant there was called the Quadrant. They had some of the best service I have ever had at a hotel restaurant. The food came in huge portions and looked spectacular.
